Through Darkness to Light: Photographs Along the Under- ground Railroad by Photographer Jeanine Michna-Bales Until August 9 Main Library Art Gallery This exhibition features beautifully dramatic color photographs, ephemera, and narratives that together tell the story of the Underground Railroad. Organized by ExhibitsUSA, a program of Mid-America Arts Alliance. Art for All! Monday, July 8 Scheben Branch, 12:30 p.m. Paint "Fresh from the Farm" under the guidance of a professional artist.
