L Boone County Public Library BCP Boone County Public Library is thrilled to be one of the Kentucky libraries selected to exhibit Science in Play2Go created by Kentucky Science Center. Designed specifically for ages 8 and under, this inter- active exhibit makes science accessible to learners of all ages. Science in Play2GO makes science person- al, fun, participatory, and relevant -- empowering kids and adults to learn together through the power of PLAY! Built around the concept of open-ended play and loose parts -- materials that can be re-imag- ined in countless ways -- the exhibit supports STEM (science, engineering, technology, and math) skills by sparking curiosity and creativity in a way that requires critical thinking and problem solving. There are six different elements to the exhibit: • Build Your World • Build-Your-Own Rollercoaster • Light Bright • Ball Fall • Shapes and Stuff Store • Science Depot Bring your family and have fun playing and learning together at the Library! Science in Play2Go will be at the Scheben Branch from Saturday, December 9 to Sunday, March 4. Science in Play2Go is presented by Kentucky Science Center, PNC, and Genentech.
